Vanessa Tapia, LSW

Vanessa has been working in the clinical social work field for four years. Vanessa received her Bachelor’s in Social Work at Purdue Northwest and then went on to pursue her Masters degree in Clinical Social Work at Indiana University Northwest.

Vanessa enjoys working with adolescents and individuals, specializing in trauma work. Vanessa has worked in community mental health, in home therapy, group therapy, and private practice settings. Her experience has allowed her to grow exponentially and it has played a crucial role in her professional and personal development.

Vanessa’s goal is to create a safe and secure environment for clients to learn and grow by helping them develop mindful and productive relationships through therapy. Vanessa does this by increasing emotional awareness and focusing on the client’s strengths.
