Irene Verduzco, M.S, LCSW
Irene is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has a broad range of clinical experience working in a variety of settings. Irene loves working with a multi-cultural population as she is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. She received her Bachelor of Social Work at Valparaiso University and went on to receive her Master of Social Work from Indiana University Northwest. She has been in the clinical therapy field for over 20 years.
Irene describes herself as a lifelong learner, with a commitment to serving the needs of children and families. She is passionate about helping others navigate through life and those faced with clinical issues. Irene has experience and specializes in treatment of Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Behavioral and Discipline Challenges, Complicated Grief, Anger and Stress Management, Trauma and Abuse, Self-image and Self-Esteem Issues, and Substance use. Irene has an eclectic approach with emphasis on the mutual development of goals for therapy and monitoring of ongoing progress in treatment. Evidenced based therapeutic interventions utilized are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, and Motivational interviewing.
