I’ve been working in the medical field in one way or another for most of my adult life. I started doing billing after graduating from a Medical Reception/ Billing program. I’ve worked in pulmonology, internal medicine, cardiology and durable medical equipment. I’ve done reception/scheduling, logistics, patient care, and mastectomy and lymphedema fitting as well as billing.

Medical billing is something that changes all the time, new rules and codes come out all the time. It is a position where it keeps me on my toes and I’m constantly learning new things, so it never is stagnant and monotonous.
