Abby is a clinical intern currently in Valparaiso University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program, expecting to graduate in August of 2026 with her associate license. Drawing from theories such as emotion-focused, acceptance and commitment, and person-centered, Abby guides clients toward a greater understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them. She believes in the power of a nonjudgmental listening ear and reminding clients they are not alone. Abby’s clinical interests include depression, anxiety, couples, neurodivergence, trauma, and identity development.
