Hannah Bormet, B.A.
Hannah Bormet is a DePaul University graduate with a BA in psychology and minor in photography (Summa Cum Laude ‘21). Hannah has always been interested in psychology and having a career centered around helping others, which is what led her to study the subject in college. Photography has been a hobby for Hannah for about eight years and she uses it as a way to document her time in each place she has lived and a way to destress.
While completing her degree, Hannah worked as a Cryotherapy Technician and Assistant Manager at The CryoBar in Chicago. During her employment, she performed whole body and facial cryotherapy services, as well as CryoSkin services. Hannah was also an adoption intern at Paws Chicago in 2020. At Paws, she sorted donations, restocked dog and cat food, created pet profiles, and finalized adoptions. After graduation, Hannah moved to Pennsylvania to be a camp counselor for the Summer of 2021 at Camp Towanda for 9 weeks. In this position, she advised 12 year old campers and took them to activities and meals every day for seven weeks while also caring for their physical and emotional needs.
Hannah is interested in furthering her education in either Environmental Law or Social Work. She plans to return to school in 2022 to pursue one of these careers. While she decides what direction to take, she hopes to help many people at Family Wellness Center as they reach out for therapy. Her interest in working in the mental health field and helping others is what inclined her to work at Family Wellness Center.
